D D Ruhinda & Co Ltd Established in 1990, we are Sisal Growers, Processors and Exporters of Sisal Fibre, also Manufacturer’s and Exporters of Sisal Yarn, Sisal Twine and Sisal Ropes.

One of the leading companies in the Sisal Industry, providing Natural Eco-friendly Fibre, Yarn and Rope solutions.

Our Contribution
to the National Economy

Our Company is in the front line of Nation Building in terms of production, productivity, employment generation, revenue generation as well as corporate social responsibility. We contribute towards foreign exchange earnings and employ around 400 people for various activities at the estate and spinning mill. The Company also provides employees with free water, housing in addition to the construction of schools, water systems and hospitals for the local community.

We produce the following grades GRADE 3L GRADE 3S GRADE UG GRADE SSUG TOW#1. The standard quality are bales weighing 250 kg each and 40 ft. HC containers with around 26-28 tonnes payload.

Sisal Yarn & Twine

Sisal Yarn & Twine

We produce high quality sisal yarn and twine. Sisal yarn runnage 200mtrs/kg upto 500meters/kg and Sisal Twine of 2-3ply of runnage 100 and 250meters/kg.

Sisal Ropes

Sisal Ropes

We are manufacturer’s of Sisal ropes of rope diameter range 6mm upto 50mm. Sisal rope can be supplied in coils of 220 metres and 100meters although can be customized to meet customers specifications.
